Passn LLC is an independent software company registered in Delaware, United States. We build one product: Passn, a dating and social discovery app for adults that starts from where people actually go rather than from an endless national grid of strangers.
Dating products optimised themselves into a slot machine: infinite inventory, no context, and a first message that has to invent its own reason to exist. Passn narrows the field on purpose. If two people move through the same streets, that is a genuine thing to build on — a neighbourhood, a commute, a Tuesday habit — and it makes the first sentence write itself.
The constraint we set ourselves is that the feature must not cost you your location privacy. So Passn stores where paths met only as a midpoint that has been randomly shifted by up to 50 metres — never anyone's own position — and never shows a live location. A product built the other way round would be easier to build and far worse to live with.

Formation details as filed with the Delaware Division of Corporations. Correspondence sent to the registered office reaches us; for anything time-sensitive, email is faster.
Passn Plus and Plus+ are the revenue. That keeps the incentives aligned: we are paid to make the product worth using, not to maximise the time you spend in it.
Reports are handled by people, and the enforcement ladder is published. We would rather launch in fewer markets well moderated than everywhere at once.
Privacy, terms, community rules, child-safety standards, location handling and deletion are all written and published, not deferred until after release.

The iOS app is feature-complete: discovery, crossings, Today, communities, stories, messaging, calls, verification, moderation tooling and subscriptions. It is being tested end to end before submission.
The iPhone app will be released on the App Store, followed by an Android version. Nothing is sold before launch, and there is no paid pre-order.
