Community Guidelines

Passn is for adults who want to meet real people whose paths cross with theirs. The point of these guidelines is simple: keep the experience safe, respectful, and worth coming back to.

We enforce these rules through reporting, blocking, automated checks, and human review. Breaking them can lead to a warning, suspension, or permanent ban — sometimes immediately, sometimes after a single report, depending on severity.

Things you must do

• Be 18 or older. Passn is for adults only. We verify date of birth at sign-up and remove minors immediately.
• Use your real photos. Show your face. Don't impersonate someone else, use celebrity images, AI-generated portraits posing as you, or stock photos.
• Be the person on your profile. Misrepresenting your age, gender, or relationship status is a violation.
• Get consent. Whether it's a date, a meeting, a photo exchange, or anything else — ask. "No" or silence is not consent.

Things you must not do

The following lead to immediate removal and, where relevant, reports to law enforcement:

• Content involving minors. Any sexual, sexualised, or exploitative content involving someone under 18. We use technical detection and human review and we report to NCMEC and equivalent authorities.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery. Sharing or threatening to share intimate images of someone without their consent ("revenge porn").
• Sex trafficking / exploitation. Any solicitation, advertising, or coordination of commercial sex acts.
• Direct, credible threats to a person's life or safety.
• Doxxing. Sharing private information (address, workplace, ID, family details) without consent to intimidate or harm.

The following are not allowed and will lead to suspension or a ban depending on history and severity:

• Harassment. Repeated unwanted contact, slurs, hate speech, stalking, bullying. This includes content targeting people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, gender, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, or serious disease.
• Solicitation of paid sexual services. Passn is not a venue for sex work, escort services, "sugar" arrangements, or related commercial advertising.
• Nudity and explicit sexual content. Don't show or send genitals, sexual acts, or fully nude images. Lingerie or beachwear is fine in ordinary contexts; sexualised close-ups are not.
• Impersonation. Don't pretend to be someone you're not, including celebrities, public figures, or other Passn users.
• Scams and fraud. This includes romance scams, crypto/investment promotion, redirecting people to off-platform "exclusive deals", asking for money, gift cards, or financial favours.
• Promotional spam. Don't use Passn to advertise products, services, OnlyFans / fan-platform links, MLMs, political campaigns, or to drive traffic to other sites.
• Hate symbols and extremist propaganda. Includes flags, slogans, and iconography associated with violent extremist groups.
• Drug sale or use depictions. Don't sell or coordinate the sale of any drug; don't depict drug paraphernalia or active use.
• Weapons. Don't pose with firearms, knives, or other weapons in a threatening manner; never to sell or trade.
• Animal cruelty. Content depicting animal abuse.
• Self-harm content. Glorifying or instructing self-harm or suicide. (If you or someone you know is in crisis, see the resources at the bottom of this page.)
• Bots and automation. Don't access Passn through an automated agent, script, or modified client; don't scrape profiles.

Reporting and blocking

Every profile, photo, message, and call has a report option. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team. Blocking another user removes them from your encounters, ends any active match, and closes any chat between you. Reporting is anonymous from the reported user's side — they don't see who filed the report.

If you witness a serious safety issue (someone threatening you, a minor on the platform, intimate-image abuse) please report and email abuse@passn.app with the details. We escalate to law enforcement where required.

Enforcement ladder

1. Warning. Most first-time minor violations.
2. Photo or content removal. When the issue is content-bound.
3. Suspension (typically 7 days). Repeat violations or borderline content.
4. Ban. Severe violations, repeat suspensions, or any of the "immediate removal" categories above.

Some categories — minors, NCII, threats, trafficking — skip directly to ban.

Appeals

If you believe an action was taken in error, email hello@passn.app from the email associated with the affected account. We review appeals within 14 days. Bans triggered by mandatory-report categories (minors, NCII, trafficking, credible threats) are not eligible for appeal.
