This page satisfies the Google Play "Account deletion" listing requirement and Apple App Store Review Guideline 5.1.1(v). It is also published at https://passn.app/account-deletion and https://passn.app/data-deletion so users can find it without an active account.
Two ways to delete your account
In-app (recommended):
- Open Passn.
- Settings → Account → Delete account.
- Provide an optional reason.
- Confirm.
Web: Email support@passn.app from the address registered on your account, with subject "Delete my account". We will verify ownership and delete within 30 days.
What happens when you ask us to delete

| Grace period | t = 0 → 14d | You can cancel by signing in. During grace, the app shows a banner. The account is otherwise active. |
| Hard delete | t = 14d | The users row is deleted; cascades remove profile, profile_photos, profile_preferences, profile_interests, user_languages, user_sessions, push_tokens, notifications, blocks, likes, messages you sent, encounters referencing you. Object-storage media is deleted. |
| Post-delete retention | t = 14d onward | A minimal set of records is retained for legal or safety reasons (see below). |
What we retain after deletion, and why

We retain only the minimum required for each purpose. After the applicable retention period, the data is hard-deleted.
Data export
You can request a copy of your data ("data portability") by emailing privacy@passn.app from the account's registered address. We deliver a machine-readable archive within one month.
If your account is banned
A permanent ban triggers the same deletion path with two changes:
- The 14-day grace period does not apply; sessions are revoked immediately.
- Identifier hashes are retained to prevent re-registration.
Appeals of bans are not eligible for the categories listed in the Community Guidelines that mandate reporting.
